The Punjab Examination Commission has proposed examinations for Class I to VIII in government schools in the first week of May. Class 1 and Class 2 exams will be oral while Class 3 to 8 exams will be paper based. The final approval of the examination schedule will be given at the Kosi EO conference on February 9. According to the details, the schedule for the examinations from class I to VIII has been prepared. The exams will continue throughout the month. Question papers will be sent to more than 48,000 schools in the province and schools will prepare question papers out of these questions. According to Punjab Examination Commission PEC, first and second class examinations will be oral while the rest of the classes will be written.
According to the PEC policy, there will be fifty marks in the examinations while the remaining fifty marks will be given on the basis of winter work. The CEO conference will give final approval to the exam schedule. The CEO Conference will be chaired by the Secretary School on February 9.
